Fowler & Hodges Family Cemeteries Washington County, Georgia Submitted by Gary Hodges Sullivan Here is some cemetery info that I have. However, I need help locating the Fowler Cemetery since many of my relatives that knew where this was are either dead or live out of state. He (Elbert Fowler) is buried in the Fowler family Cemetery in Washington County, GA. with his wife Sarah G. Butts Fowler. Also buried there are John C. Fowler (born Jan. 24, 1870, died May 24, 1901) and Harper Shurling (born Sept. 1, 1885, died April 5, 1904). This cemetery is located in the area between Highways 24 and 272 before one gets to the South Indian Trail Road.(Source: Book titled Washington County, Georgia Tombstone Inscriptions by Elizabeth Prichard Newsom, Sandersville, GA. ) Hodges Family Cem. is located on Indian Trail Rd. in Washington County, Georgia.
