Georgia Tornadoes

The Glossary of Meteorology defines a tornado as "A violently
rotating column of air, in contact with the ground, either pendant from a
cumuliform cloud or underneath a cumuliform cloud, and often (but not
always) visible as a funnel cloud."

Below you will find a list of the tornadoes that had an impact on areas of
Georgia, oldest first. I will add information about each incident as I
learn more. If anyone has any data or photos regarding these tornadoes
they would like to donate to this project, please email me.
