GRAVES MADE READY FOR MEMORIAL DAY

SEXTON HALL OF ROSE HILL CEMETERY GETS CONFEDERATE LOT IN READINESS, AND
ASKS INDIVIDUALS TO DO LIKEWISE.

Preparations were begun some time ago at Rose Hill cemetery to have the
grounds in the best order for Memorial Day, april 26. The plot containing
the 600 graves of the Confederate dead have received special attention,
and is now freshly clipped and cleaned, ready to receive the memorial offerings.

In order that all may be in readiness for the final preparations, which
must necessarily be put off until the last, Sexton Hall asks that the lot
owners finish cleaning their lots on Tuesday, April 24. The order follows:

"Editor Telegraph: Will you permit me, through your columns, to [?] the
attention of lot owners of Rose Hill cemetery to the importance of having
their lots put in order for Memorial Day. By order of the cemetery
committee, no one will be permitted to do any cleaning or other work on
lots after Tuesday, April 24. ROLAND B. HALL, Sexton"
