Mercer University, Macon, Ga. Mercer, a Baptist co-educational institution, is over one hundred years old. Its large plant, including a theological school and a law school, faces beautiful Tattnal Square Park. Mercer is one of Macon's two institutions of higher learning, the other being Wesleyan College, Methodist, which is the oldest chartered college for women in the world. Obtained with a group of postcards from the 1940s.
Hay House - Macon, Ga. 934 Georgia Ave., Macon, Ga. Italian Renaissance Villa, built in the 1850's, with an immense ballroom and a secret room where Confederate gold was supposedly stored. Fabulous furnishings, priceless antiques, rare objects d'art, museum pieces, paintings, tapestries, floor coverings, crystal chandeliers, and gorgeous decorations. Open to the public during visiting hours. Mid 1960s.
Beautiful Colonial Home, Ralph B. Small Residence, Macon, Ga. This colonial home was built in 1847 and is a fine example of the Greek Revival Period. Obtained with a group of postcards from the 1940s.

The Philomathean Room, located in the historic Cannonball House at Macon, Georgia, serves as a memorial to Phi Mu's founders. At Wesleyan College in 1852 the Philomathean Society was founded. Later, it becam Phi Mu Fraternity. Many of the antiques in the room date back to the 1840s. The room is maintained by Phi Mu Foundation and local alumnae.
